La Rochelle identifies areas for improvement its parking policy.

The French City of la Rochelle analysed its parking policy with the newly developed ParkPAD Tool. The city has mature parking policies and is doing very well in terms of parking enforcement. However, it encounters difficulties in getting messages across, both in terms of promoting and raising awareness of its own policies and in terms of guiding / routing the drivers to the available parking offer. Within the audit 10 actions have been identified in the Parking Quality action Plan that will be tackled in the upcoming year. The co-operation with retailers is one of the focal points. La Rochelle received as first French City the ParkPAD Certificate.
