The workplace parking levy in Nottingham could be copied in Glasgow, in a bid to generate more money to invest in transport.

Nottingham became the first city in the UK to introduce the scheme in 2012, and it has since generated around £53 million.

This has been re-invested in the trams, Link buses and the train station.

There has already been interest from several English cities, but now Glasgow is considering becoming the first city in Scotland to introduce the scheme.

Already, Oxford, Cambridge, Reading and London are considering implementing a levy.
